West Coast Beaches

The west coast of Barbados is home to some of the most stunning beaches on the island. While prices may be a little higher on this side, it's all worth it for the breathtaking views. One of the star attractions on this coast is Holetown beach, with its crystal clear waters, reliable flow and powdery white sand. Perfect for swimming and water sports, it offers plenty of space and picturesque views. Plus, it's conveniently located near Sea Salt Studios. Whether you seek relaxation, water sports, or a mix of both, you can find something for everyone at one of these stunning beaches. Note that this list is not exhaustive, just my favourites.

Tips for lounging at public beaches.

In Barbados, all beaches are public, but hotels have their own sections with furniture and restaurants. So, it's good to know that you can't just plop down in any Cabana. However, many ocean-front restaurants along the West coast offer beach loungers for patrons to use, usually with a meal or minimum purchase. Check their Instagram for all the juicy details while planning your itinerary. For those looking for a more laid-back option, you can rent loungers and umbrellas just about anywhere from friendly locals. They may not be as fancy as the hotels, but they definitely get the job done, usually at a reasonable flat rate per day. That's why investing in a modern, lightweight, and compact oversized towel is a must-have for your stay. And if you want to save some cash, bring along a compact beach blanket – those microfiber, lightweight, and sand-free ones from Amazon are all the rage! And if you're staying with us, you're in for a treat! You'll have access to our Beach Club, complete with loungers (subject to availability), a pristine pool, and fabulous wash and change facilities. So, get ready for some blissful beach lounging in Barbados!
